Protec storage wants its clients to know how the storage process works, so they can have an amazing self-storage experience. Here are answers to some of our most commonly asked questions!

Do I need a reservation?

With Protec, you don’t need to make a reservation. It might be best if you have one, so you can save time on the move-in day.

What sizes of self-storage units do you have?

Our unit sizes range from 25 square feet to 300 square feet. To find out the cost of each unit, kindly talk to our certified storage specialists.

Is there any difference between indoor and outdoor units?

Indoor units are protected from the elements and they tend to have broad hallways. Outdoor units are typically on one level and offer the convenience of drive-up access.

Does Protec provide a lock or does anyone else have a key?

We recommend that you purchase a lock on site, though you can bring your own, that way only you have the key.

Am I renting the space month to month or am I on a lease?

There is no lease with Protec. Our services are based on User Agreements, so you can renew your rent weekly and pay every 4-weeks for convenience. You are not locked in and can move out anytime, without advance notice.

Does Protec send monthly invoices?

No, we only invoice upon request. We offer the flexibility to pre-authorize your payment in advance, by direct debit, credit card or by mailing a cheque.

Will your staff help me move in to my storage unit?

Unfortunately, our staff cannot assist you. However, we provide complimentary hand trucks and dollies for your convenience. Additionally, we can recommend a reliable mover for professional moving.

Will you accept packages for me if I can't be there?

Yes, we will gladly accept courier deliveries!

When can I access my unit?

You can access your unit anytime throughout all 7 days of the week, 365 days of the year!
